Laura is a senior consultant with a background in security risk management and protection programmes. She has a rich track-record in working with the United Nations and INGOs in Europe and the Middle East. Her areas of expertise include security and conflict analysis, strategy development, programme management, governance and advocacy,  international protection, and international and refugee law. She is a certified training professional specialized in gender security programmes. 

Laura has a MSc in Middle Eastern Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies and a BSc in Political Science and Government from the University of  Madrid. Laura communicates in Spanish, English, Italian and Arabic.
